This is what I assumed, I was just curious if there had been any research done that pointed to the relative importance of these things.

can a player that no longer play inthis league be MVP?

i got my team 3 weeks ago and i found out that one of the players that use to pay with my team (under previous owner) was very good and is leading the stat charts

can he be MVP (he plays at 'Retired' now offcourse)

I would think so, but i would need some backup on this.As long as he's played the mimimum games for the stats rankings.

Do playoff games factor into MVP voting? It was stated that team record can influence the voting, does this include how far you go in the playoffs?
