How is home court advantage determined in the finals?

I had the best record in my conference, beat the team I am playing in the finals in our one head-to-head, but he gets home court advantage with the first game at his arena?

Am I missing something?

Well there are 2 games for the finals. One at home, and one away. And then a tie breaker if needed. So there are 2 games so it's all fair an even (where you play). I hope that was clear, cheers mate!

The best record hosts Games 1 & 3 of the Finals, regardless of conference placement.

The other team hosts Game 2.

Thanks for the reply.

If there is a third game, it would be at my home court? Or at a neutral site?

Normally the team with the best record is given the first home game in a series and home court advantage in any rubber game.

Thanks Juice. Not sure why I'm starting on the road then. I had best record in the league at 21-1, while my opponent is 19-3.

Oh well...

Overlooked the first game. The scrimmage threw me off.

Thanks.

even when it stands like that in the rules, in the PO finals the better win/loss statistik is important, in the relegation the standing in the conference is more important.

I think because you had the better record you get home court advantage for the final tie breaker. :)

Probably because the league is conspiring to keep a team named the "Rash Monsters" from winning the championship. Not much to be made in merchandise sales of a team with that name

:-P Though that I could take it off topic now that the issue has been resolved.
