How is this possible? A newly bought player shows as having played 61 minutes in the last week but end up with awful game shape?

He hadn't played at all this season before this week, so his Game Shape was suffering badly from the lack of playing time.

Gotcha. For whatever reason I thought game shape was only reflective of the past week of playing time.
