On my cup match vs. sintenels (03/12/09)
On the 2nd quarter, at 11:22 my player makes a shot and instead of saying scored, it said undefined. On the ensuing possession, my opponent shot clock went to 0, and game clock just kept on running. At 10:44, I stole the ball from them. But they had a 38 second possession.

If you can, in the future put the link to the exact time, it makes for easierfor the BBs to research. :D
I had something similar a few games back where my opponent had a Technical Foul against me, after the shot, the opponent had a 7 second possession, then I fouled. The clock was reset and then a 38 second possession which also ended in my stealing the ball back. There were no fouls recorded in that 38 second possession.
The undefined was a goaltending call, BTW.

adding this to the collection..
Since I couldn't find a similar thread I just opened a new one.
During my league match my opponent had one possession which lasts for exactly 48sec. You can see it during 8:46 and 7:58 in the second quarter. And who knows how long this possession would have last, if Heikki wouldn't have stolen the ball ;)

so in summary i have 2 example.. and one more report
example 1) undefined (goaltending) ... long possession... steal
example 2) offensive rebound .... long possession ... steal
Juicepat report ) ??? ..... long possession .... steal
I would like to know if we can get more examples to find out of there is any pattern to what happens before the long possession, or that all these long possessions end in steals.

I have seen a couple of these long possessions and almost always they end with a steal.
Probably always, but Im not sure if once it did not end with a foul.

i am actually more interested in what happened before the long possession, because presumably this is where the shot clock was set and was not set correctly.
although if it ALWAYS is ending with a steal that would be interesting, so if you have an example where it ends in a foul that would be interesting as well.

Player scores at 32 seconds. Possession ends with a steal with 00 seconds left on the clock.
Note that the score is at 32 seconds... but the shot clock starts incorrectly... it is 4 seconds ahead of where it should be. It hits 00 at 12 seconds instead of 08 seconds.
[The above may be a display issue. When I run it down from 1 minute to go... it properly hits 00 with 08 seconds on the clock.]
