Do you think this game is like real life? Let me explain. When I watch basketball, I notice the better high school teams when left open won't always hit that open three and players are generally less talented and the score is lower. College is better and the NBA players much better and able to hit that open shot, so a good NBA team (Celtics) are considered good for giving up 90 points a game while a good college team only gives up 50-60 points while a good high school team might keep their opposition in the 30s in some cases.

So. IF: (all sub levels the same and all other stats equal)

High School- Inept inside offense vs Inept inside defense
College- Average inside offense vs. average inside defense
NBA- Prominent inside offense vs. prominent inside defense

Do all three games score the same number of points or does the third game score more points since the players are better and more capable of hitting shots?

For one thing, the games are not the same length. Professional games are 48 minutes, college games are 40 minutes, and high school games are 32 minutes.

high school games change based on country and location. I played 4 10 minute quarters in high school. That was in the states and we gave up roughly 50-55 points a game and scored around 55- 60 and we were in the top 20 schools in NJ.

It is also to early in this game to see how these things work. I would rather know if a balanced team say respectable levels inside and out is better than a prominent inside and mediocre outside, or if man defense of respectable is better than a 2-3 level of respectable. I know the answer in real life but would like to understand the GE a bit better.

Also, I just found out that European professional leagues play 4 10 minute quarters.

As far as the ratings go, it all depends on the matchup of offense tactic versus defensive tactic. If team A is Prolific Inside D and mediocre Perimeter D and team B plays run and gun with respectable perimeter scoring and mediocre inside scoring, chances are team B is going to do well. You will also notice that your ratings will change depending on what tactic you choose. Playing 2-3 zone will make your inside d and rebounding better, while playing 1-3-1 zone will make your perimeter d better.
