Hi everybody,

I am not the person who starts crying or complaining very fast. But I am almost sure that in the last weeks something went wrong with my training. I had two trainings in OD and one training in ID without a single pop in any skill. I know that it just can be coincidence but I want to be sure about this. Therefore it would be nice, if someone could have a look at this. Btw... I had two skilldowns in this period, looks like fun? - It isn't really funny at all.

In the first week (training was ID for C/PF) I expected one pop and didn't get it and I don't really have a problem with this. Due to his high skills he probably have to suffer more with the softcap than I expected. I just mention this training, to give you a complete view of my situation.

In the second and third week I trained pressure for PG and SG and all the players are definitely below the softcap. I will give you their minutes, age and height of these 2 weeks.

Player 1 (6'2", 18 years): Week 1: 47 minutes Week 2: 48 minutes
Player 2 (6'1", 18 years): Week 1: 37 minutes Week 2: 48 minutes
Player 3 (6'6", 22 years): Week 1: >48 min Week 2: > 48 min
Player 3 (6'8", 22 years): Week 1: >48 min Week 2: > 48 min
Player 3 (6'2", 23 years): Week 1: >48 min Week 2: > 48 min

If you only have a look at these number you could say - just bad luck! But after a friend of mine told me that his 6'2" and 18 year old player had 2 ups in OD in the last two weeks (also training pressure for PG/SG), I am not anymore sure if there is everything alright with my training.

Hopefully there is someone out there who can and will give me certainty about my training-issue. This doesn't mean that someone says, that these things could theoretically happen or that it is just coincidence or bad luck. I really would appreciate facts in this case.

Thanks in advance
Yogi

PS: my arena isn't going well either... in the last 7 days, the estimated time decreased only by 2 days but this is another topic and I am already familiar with this problem.

edit: I forgot to mention that I haven't had a single pop in any secondary skill as well

I think your friend is lieing. He can not have 2 pops in OD on one player even if his od was 1% near skill pop before he started. Did you check the training speed thread? Arena: The more you build seats the more it varies.

hi!
i have the same problem with training:
all my players are 23 and 24 y.o and my trainer is level 5.
i train j.r for 3 weeks and j.s for 2 weeks and i have only 1 pop up in j.r in 5 weeks!
all the last pop ups were 9-10 weeks ago!
i am playing from season 2 and i do not remember this long time with no pop ups!

Why should my friend lie? If you don't know a person don't accuse him/her to be a liar or something else. I know for sure that he is telling the truth, but this shouldn't be the topic in this thread so I will stop this now ;)

Why do people lie? Perhaps he needed to brag? The fact still remains the same. A player will not pop in any defence 2 weeks in a row (he can pop od one week and id the next week) <- that is 100% truth. Have you seen the both pops with your eyes? How can you be convinced he is telling the truth?

I am not quite sure this is 100% truth.

With 1-position training, an 18-year old, 7'4+ center might pop ID 2 weeks in a row.

However, under the conditions described in this thread, it is indeed impossible.

Friend said he had pops in OD which is even more bizarre. The thing you suggested, I don't think that is doable with lvl5 trainer, perhaps lvl7 trainer but I doubt it (perhaps with other skills way above ID but it's still far fetched).

In Season 4, I had a 7'4 18-year old pop 2 levels in 2 ID trainings, with a RB and IS training sandwiched in-between.

Having in mind I was training 2 positions with a level 8 coach, I think it's definitely doable.

So you did training ID->RB->IS->ID? or RB->IS->ID->ID?

ID->RB->IS->ID

However, I trained 2 positions with a lev 8 or lev 9 coach, so that should even out.

Perhaps with perfect trainee good trainer and 1 spot training could produce it. But you still need a good sublevel on your dude + better inside overall skills in reb and IS. I have tried ID for 1 spot and I have not seen it I had a pretty good trainee for that. There is no way you can pop it twise in a row with 2 spot training.

But after a friend of mine told me that his 6'2" and 18 year old player had 2 ups in OD in the last two weeks (also training pressure for PG/SG)

I am sure this thing written above is not doable 100%!!!
