So i've gone to check out the team that i'm scheduled to play for my next league game.

Clicked on their games so i can see how they've done previously, what tactics they use etc BUT besides showing the proper team for tomorrow, all previous games are for a different team (coincidentally the team opposite them in the Big 8).

It's not a bug with the names or anything, they are different teams, even play each other down the track.

I wasn't sure if i should name names here or if it would help with any investigations but let me know if you need any more info.

But 10 and Adelaide 36ers are two different teams, one is in the Big 8 and the other is in the Great 8, been that way since i signed up about 2 months ago.

Also, Adelaide 36ers play 10 a few weeks down the track so it looks to me that they're two different teams.

Now, if i look at my league's highest scorers and click on each i see:

Cantebury Metro player takes me to team details for 10
10 players takes me to team details for Adelaide 36ers
Adelaide 36ers player takes me to team details for Cantebury Metro
The Unkown player takes me to team details for Ngati Kahungunu

edit on the fly: (i know i could have deleted the above but i wanted you to see my train of thought and why i was confused)

.......hmm, clicking on the actual player instead of the team shows me that the players are retired so i'm assuming those teams have been abandoned but that still doesn't explain the screwy history confusing me everywhere.

Could there perhaps be a name change or at least a note on the team listings (even just an asterisk or something) denoting teams that have been abandoned so we know that their history/future games aren't what they seem?

and lastly, what happens to my game with the abandoned Adelaide 36ers tomorrow? Is that just cpu controlled with random players/tactics etc?

What I think happened was that there was a team named "10" that was deactivated and it was replaced by "Adelaide 36ers" and there is another team called "10" run by a different user.

So I believe all the info shown is correct.

And to answer your last question I think you are playing a human player this next game.
