I'm a fairly new user and although I thought I had figured the training aspect out I was wrong. I trained 5 players who all played 48mins + this week in passing however early this morning I changed my training to pressure only to see that two of my five players got pops in outside defense. If I wanted to train jump shot for this week would I have to set the training to JS this friday, during the week, or next friday???
Thanks in advance,
Rapsfan

It's what you have set when the update takes place that counts, for the whole week. Nothing else.

What you have set when the training update happens counts for the week "backwards", so now you have almost one week time to set your training type for this week.

Another way of saying what he is saying is, it looks like you changed your training today before last week's training took place.

I am sure what time training occurs in Canada but in the USA it occurs fairly early Friday morning. If you change your training before training occurs Friday morning it will train for the previous week.

A good rule to follow, if you can, is wait until Sunday or Monday to change training in case training for some reason for the previous week is delayed on Friday.

Also you trained inside defense which trains more slowly than other skills. Just because you have achieved 48 minutes with a player and set the training doesn't mean they will pop but if they don't they will become closer to the pop.

Think of it like an RPG game your character needs 100 xp to level up. This weeks training in outside defence on one player may give you 80 towards it, so they still need another 20 to see a pop on the roster page. Another one of your players may have already had 40 towards the next level so the 80 will put them over the 100 xp barrier and you will see a pop.
