I checked my fan survey, and for the "familiar with stars" thing I got 2/5. Should I be worried? I mean, I just started this season, I kind of had to make most of the changes I made.

I've bought and sold players since i started the game like they were cattle. So my "familiar with the star players" has never been over 1. I've had absolutely no problem filling my stadium, even with a level 1 PR manager and high prices.
The interesting thing is "familiar with the star players" appears to be reflected almost perfectly with "my Gm is trying his hardest to improve the team". My "familiar" has alwasy been 0.5-1.0 and my "Gm is doing all he can" has always been 4.5+. So perhaps it's a bit of a useless stat, as one goes up the other goes down, and visa versa. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has 3+ on both.
At any rate I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you're doing your best to win as many games as you can the unwashed masses will keep coming back.

i have 3 stars at the familiar w/t the stars and 4.5 with the manager. it's been basically at these numbers my whole time playing. but as long as you're filling the arena, i think you shouldn't worry about it.

3 stars "familiar" after 2 months playing? Sounds odd.

Not really an important stat. Mine hovers around 0.5-1.

I have 4 stars on both. Sold a few players in the beginning and a youth pick at the start of this season. I haven't bought a player for over 1,5 season...

Look at my Survey:

At one time, I had both of them at 5, I think it was at the beginning of last season... I sold some crappy centers and bought a solid center line, while my star-players, guards, remained the same... Fans were really happy :)

My experience shows that even if you just put a player up for sale that your "not afraid to be transferred" rating takes a big hit. I think the only way to keep this high is to not put anyone up for sale.
