I know that the given time for how long it may take to complete the expansion is only an estimate, but couldn´t that be made more reliable? Never ever is the time given at the beginning the time it really takes to finish the expansion. I think the random factor whether the day-counter continues or not is made far too negative.
For my current expansion it was given an estimate of 10 days, that would have ended yesterday. Today the counter is at 6 days remaining, and i guess it will take another 10 to 15 days to complete it. Why don´t you show a more correct time right from the start? Why this huge random factor?

I upgraded my stadium around the start of the season and it was meant to take just under a month or so, cant really remember but it should be finished tomorrow making it fairly early.

If the counter is at 6 days but it takes 10 to 15 days then thats tough.

I have no idea and find this to be quite irritating.

Huge random factor if you are upgrading your stadium just only by "few" places. If I were investing over 1 milion, it was really precisely.

Who will try to reach a deadline for a small building, while they have a more work on a JuicePats vomit-stained garden?

is double time an precise estimation? And it is allowed to take longer too stay precise?

no sometimes the calculation is right, but mostly you have to multiply then with 1,5, or 2 when you like to go relatively sure.

And another day with "6 days left to complete the expansion". It´s round about the 4th day, I stopped counting.
I started at the 4th of that month with 10 or 11 days, i cannot precisely remember, and i´m already down to 6, wohoo, that is so ridiculous...
If you wanna extend the time it takes to expand the arena, then stop talking about "xx days" left...

I honestly can't see the problem here. At least not with BB or the game. The ones having problems (without any disrespect!) only have problems with themselves.

BB has designed the expansion with an estimate, and that estimate is an estimate. About everyone who expanded some seats knows that, or learned that it is not correct.

It is to the managers to take into account that it is that way. Even if it took 4 times the estimate (which is most certainly doesn't)

I'm not sure about this, but I think I may very well be the manager with the most expansions behind his name. Once an expansion is finished, I start the next one. Always small ones estimated 6 or 7 days.
Given the info I have from all these expansions I think 1.2 times the estimate is a prety good average.
So I won't say it can't take 2 times the estimate, but I am sure this is no common practice!!

Ofcourse the times the estimate is correct, or close to correct, nobody will write about it in the forums, so all forumreaders see is the exceptional high time it takes.

In the end it realy doesn't matter. Plan ahead, act ahead, and you won't need to worry anymore.

I have my expansionplanning ready for the next two seasons (ending mid season 10) with some breathing space in between, I won't worry a single second about my expansions.

Long term planning and freeing up budget are key things here. Good managership includes these skills. ;)

Anyone losing $$$ just brought it upon himself by starting the expansion to late.
