I am currently playing in a bot league (III) and it seems to be certain that I will promote to league II.

Problem is that in league II all the teams are much better than me so, I have almost no chance to stay there for some time. At the moment my team would move up and down like an elevator every season, which is not very tempting and might cause some frustration.

In my opinion it would be best to raise the promotion, so teams could buy some new players (in fact i think doubling the promotion would be very helpful). Any other hints or suggestions are appreciated :D

Heh. I'd be fine if promotion money was cut in half. :)

Rare is the suggestion that is unanimously agreed upon.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not.

Moving up and down can have it's advantages. You can use the promotion money to improve your arena and increase your salary base. When you demote you can spend that season using more diverse training methods with players out of position and still win.

The key is using methods to 'stick' in the upper division. There are specific tactics for this. For example if you TIE all the teams you know you will lose to and then norm (or CT?) all the games you have a chance to win, you have a better chance of landing in a relegation spot with a chance to stick. Just one example.

Good luck! :)

I'd wager we can all agree on the part where he said that doubling the money would be helpful. :)

You want teams to get double the money for promotion?

That's not what I said, I said we could all agree that getting double money would be helpful.

It doesn't follow that I want for them to get that help, or that I think they should get it either :)

That's what I assumed. Though, I still wouldn't agree with the latter part. What good would it do if we all got double the money? We're all in the same boat, so there's no advantage anywhere.
