When do they update? After each day, or each game? I know that players can only get injured in games, but I have a player that was injured in his game on April 7 for 2 weeks, and I'm wondering if there's still a chance that he'll be back for my game on the 21st. It says he's still injured, so I'm trying to figure out if there's a chance his injury will go away tomorrow

The 'number' of weeks shown on your player (the injury) is just an estimate of how long he will be injured. If you get a better doctor it will heal faster. (obviously)

I'm sorry to disagree, but I am fairly certain that the level of doctor does not affect the recovery time. The level does, however, absolutely affect the duration of an injury. The higher the level of doctor, the more likelihood that an injury does not carry over to another game(s). Or in other cases, what would be a 2-week injury with a level 1 doctor is a game-only injury with a level 4 (for example). OTOH, the highest-grade injury (a grade 10 I believe) might not be affected at all by the level of doctor—a 4-week injury no matter what level. Thus you might say that getting a higher-level doctor after a key injury is analogous to closing the barn door after the horse has escaped, except that the higher level might help in the future:-)...Pappy

From the rules

Doctors help reduce the severity of player injuries. Once a player is injured, a Doctor will also help him heal more quickly, but the effect is much smaller than the initial reduction in severity.

I'm not sure if this has been disproven.

no this was just a change with the new stafff system, the effect is small but should be there.

But it stay more efficient to have the doctor while the player get injured.

Thanks for the responses, but not what I was looking for. Do injuries heal only after a game is played, or do they heal after a daily update?

My question was answered, his injury was healed after last night's daily update. Yay!

what about frequency of injuries. Would a team with a higher level doctor have less injuries than a team with a lower level doctor
