quite surprised to see that again for the 2nd time, i saw an tiny C of my opponent still able to get double digit on rebounding, even block 3 times shot. I really hope the height difference would be mattering on it...

need advise on the cause?

Thanks

Ben

Height only matters on training. Probably that tiny C is better than yours....or at least has a good SB and/or ID.

Haha that's unfortunate, but height does not matter in game.

Yeah they really need to work on that , Height would obviously matter in a game so that 5'11 player he calls a Center would have been crushed. Thats Buzzerbeater for you :)

I hope they don't, in other bball sim games where height matters in games, the transfer market is ridiculously overinflated for guys 7ft+.

Height matters in this game too -- but not in this way. You're just not going to get any advantage from matching a tall player, who's very poor against a short player, who's equally poor.

my center having strong IS and still shot for 10/24 FG. i might be ok on this, but that 5'11" guy has 13 rebounds against my C, which make my eyes almost popped out...

in real life, a 7'3" player should be easily shot 10/10 FG in a game over that 5'11" player inside the paint.

btw...how to judge a tall player whether he's poor or not against short player?

thanks for the input

not in your level is your 5'11 guy is talented and your 7"3 guy not, height is also into the skills ;)

And later one good center are big and good guards are small, but in creating the small guys with center are more talented then the big guys.

I know that , but I still think height should matter because It would be more fun the more realistic it is. And 5'11 against 7'3 is like Earl Boykins going for a dunk on Tim Duncan it aint happening.

It would be nice if you could see stats correctly. Their C took 7 rebounds total while your C took 20 reb. What's wrong with that? Your C shot 10-22 while his shot 3-20 -> his overall rating was 3.5. The 3 blocks are a useless stat as this game handles blocks poorly. I am pretty sure I could play my SF or SG against your big men and dominate the boards, because you are actually really low on talent if we take II league into consideration.
My overall suggestion for you is: Play the game more than 2 seasons, look at the performance patterns. Make sure you understand that player "SKILLS" determine the outcome not "HEIGHT" and that "HEIGHT" helps to develop "SKILLS" needed for certain positions.
PS! If you train a 5.11 guy in inside skills and do not train that 7.00 guy the 5.11 guy will eventually be better than the 7 footer. If you train both of them in inside skills there is no way 5.11 guy would be better (aslong as we are not comparing 18yo and 32yo :D )!

I really like the height not being a factor. Think Charles Barkley when he finished. He was a 6'4" PF. One of the best rebounders going around. If I wanted to I could train a Barkley.

I have also played bball against a 6'10" who I out rebounded. I am sub 6'0". Basically at the low levels of sport in the real world some people have more skill than others at boxing out/rebounding. If I was to train with this 6'10" guy to play pro ball he would end up a better rebounder due to height and just like the game. Taller trains up quicker in inside skills.

I like to think of the bottom divisions as scratch basketball. It is just a bunch of guys who turned up for a game and the guy that can rebound plays in the paint and the guy that can shoot from outside does that.

Just my opinion.
