If you like to bid, go on the transfer list, search an player you like to buy, when the skills look fine for you click on his name and then they should be a box where you could click "bid on this player"(or something like that). There is another box above that, where you can post the money you like to bid on it, normally it is filled with the minimum amount you have to bid for him.
