Last week I bought a Level 10 trainer and was paying him a salary of 23637. Now I somehow have a level 9 trainer, with the same salary, and it says I can buy a level 10 trainer for 22000 a week. What gives?

Staff members decrease their skill with time. It's normal.

Fair enough. Is that part in the rules? I think I would've been okay with it if I had known beforehand.

Is it safe to say that staff skills degrade faster at higher levels? Or will it be about a level per week? Or did I just get unlucky?

I also had a level 10 trainer the other day - I think I checked on Friday and he was still level 10. After reading nick's post, I checked today and my guy is also level 9.

Strange coincidence...

not strange at all, you both probably have the same guy. Everyone that bought that guy that week will see now that he dropped to level 9.

The same happened to my Doctor (that i bought 8 and after a few weeks dropped to 7), and also my PR guy (after a while dropped from 8 to 7).

However my coach is a level 10 that costs more than $25k per week, and he remains level 10 since last season.

Edit: it's not cool that people have the same staff guys, but don't worry cause I think they will re-arrange the entire staff system.

If your level 10 coach has a price of over 25k, then he's probably a higher level of 10 than I had, because my guy was only 23k a week. The crappy part is that my guy's salary didn't go down, only his level.

yep. that's exactly it.

They made it like this so we would have to change our staff every once in a while.
