I have a player named Will Hunter who I drafted last season and his potential is Hall of Famer and he's 18. So of course I'm spending most of my training time on him.

Here's his stats right now

Jump Shot: average Jump Range: proficient
Outside Def.: average Handling: mediocre
Driving: respectable Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: pitiful ↑ Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: average Free Throw: awful

Experience: pitiful

His rebounding was atrocious last week so I decided to raise it so he had no atrocious'.

He's 6'4 by the way. So should I make him a small forward, point guard, or shooting guard?

Thanks everyone for your help. I was thinking about making him very Kobe-Like, SG that is 6'4, Kobe had a mini fro that is almost as sweet as my guys, and they both have high potential. So if I make his driving better will it make him go in from the 3 point line and do a lay up like Kobe does?

He seems too short to be a small forward to me for some reason, I know that my 2 SF's are 6'5 and 6', but I want to franchise this guy for my team and a 6'4 SG that can shoot and drive just sounds perfect.

Is heighth not that important in BB??

Height only matters for training. It's not counted at all in the game engine.

I had a simillar problem with 1 of my players. Being only 6'3 with very good inside skills, decent outside. I have also an other 4 trainees at PF/C. I trained him for 2 seasons as a big man (ID, IS, R), and then i advertise him, for managers that they want to create a great SF, so now the next manager is training is guard skills. Some times is better to sell a player to an other manager, just to help him to rich his potential.

The best player on my team is a 6' 5" center, so how could height be counted?

In training speed. Bigger guys train inside skills (ID,IS,RB,SB) faster, and smaller guys train outside (OD,PA,HA,DR) skills faster
