Hi, I am trying to win my next game against a very stong but hopefully not unbeatable opponent. My start in the season was a bad one, bacause I tried to concentrate on the Cup - bad decision. Now I am trying to make it up and reach the playoffs.

My next opponent (34242) is fairly strong. He has "inept" ratings except for perimeter defence. He seems to be playing but Base Offence and 2-3. He lost his last game against a weaker opponent, but I cannot really "read" anything from that game (1125479). Is it more than random?

My strengthes are in Rebounding and Inside defence, up to "mediocre" or "average" when playing 2-3. I train C and PF in Rebounding. My last matches are quite representative, e.g. (1125480) or (1125465) (I have recently acquired some new players, so older matches might be less indicative).

Some of my newer players are still in low form, maybe one or two of them catches up, would be one better Center and one Shooting Guard.

I am wondering if there are tactics that would increase my chances of winning this game. He seems slightly stronger and is playing home. Any ingenious or basic help available?

If I were you, I would play 'Low post' offense, since you got 'inept (high)' inside shot... Almost mediocre... As for the defense, I'm not sure... Well, I would go with 'Man to man' cause I always play that:)

Or maybe 'Look inside' offense... The decision is yours, I just told you what would I do... Don't blame me if you lose:)

Edit: From the rules:
'2-3 Zone: Increased inside defense and rebounding at the expense of a lot of perimeter defense. Somewhat slow pace.'

So who knows, maybe your chance is in outside shooting... You know better than me, cause I don't know what kind of shooters you have...

Shooters have ~ Jump Shot 6-7 and range 5-7.

That's pretty good... But like I said, don't blame me if you lose:)
