NBA teams don't play the Princeton offense, and the majority of them don't play a motion offense ever either. Nor do they play 1-3-1 zones.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

NBA teams do play versions of the princeton offense...

in fact Pete Carril used to be a coach for the Kings.

GE like NBA? Can anybody explain me what´s that? If it means GE like the "new" one, I´d say "LOL".

Thanks :)

This is not a thread to talk about tactical differences between FIBA and NBA so....

...Congrats to reach 50K users!!! Let´s go for 100K ;)

Oh, well since it was witten in Wikipedia it must be true. I lived in Sacramento when Pete Carrill coached there, and the offense they used was possibly remotely similar to Princeton, mostly because Webber and Divac were good passers. The difference there was that while Webber roamed the free throw line extended, Divac was in the paint quite a bit. I would argue that most of those teams cited in the article play a form of passing game where they might occasionally clear out the key and try some backdoor plays. In my experience, Princeton ( at least the way the Tigers ran it ) is a much more rigid and slow offense than teams play in the NBA.

At any rate, the thread is about your achievement of reaching 50k users and a silly semantic argument shouldn't detract from acknowledging your success.

Congratulations and Princeton offense forever!

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.
