André, some of us already asked for that and they didn't wanted to. It was decided that this season scouting will be over 3 weeks before the end of the season and then we will see the draft prospects.

And the scouting we 'll do in those final 3 weeks will count for the next season.

Can I see his age, size and DMI?

No. You will only see the things described above by Domenico (and also described in the rules page)

Teams that have been playing longer will only have an advantage in that season for the draft, after that it resets and should be all even. Now, being able to afford to put money into scouting is another story...

Agreed. Obviously, teams that start in higher divisions won't have as much of a problem on account of there increased revenue. Fox, what was your TV revenue a few weeks ago?

175k, I believe it was the same for all IV teams. Seems like its +75k per level.

* if a player gets 0 scouting points he never got scouted, so you do not see anything.
* if he gets 1 scouting point, you see a numeric value from 1 to 5 — the higher the better.
* if he gets 2 scouting points, you also see a rating from F- to A+, which is more informative
* if he gets 3 scouting points, you also see his highest skill (e.g. "rebounding: respectable")

This is a little different from what's in the rules, no?

"scouting a player twice lets you know their Grade Ranking as a player as well as their best stat and how good they are at it."

So, if I'm training a specific position, there's no way (except for players who happen to get 3 points assigned to them) to have any idea if they'll fit my training scheme? Or, to avoid taking someone at a position I'm loaded at? Or do we at least get to see their "Best position"? Seems like at least age/height would be pretty trivial information to have... you don't usually even have to scout to get that...

When does the scouting period end?

I had heard that a few weeks before the end of the season the scouting would start going toward next season rather than the upcoming draft. Does anybody know when exactly the scouting period for this season ends?

I think(not sure I forgot) you only see what their highest skill level is or highest skill. In any case, if you do have players you don't need, you can sell them for good money and buy players you do need. Other people will be doing the same thing so there will be no shortage on the number of players.

Another draft question... are the abilities of newly generated players equal across league levels (i.e. I, II, III, IV, etc)?

Yes, I believe the highest skill is respectable for all draftees.
