First off...I have sold only one player in the last 2 months that was on my team for less than 1 month..That was because he got injured. I do buy $1000 bums for scrimmages and then fire them. The guy that I have in the bin right now I am getting 97% of the sell. So what are you talking about? Day trading is when you buy a player in low user periods and keep him on your team for less than a week and then have them come off at 9pm European time. In fact..Weren't you the most famous day trader in the history of BB? tell me this Mr. Superfly? How many players have you had on your roster for less than two weeks since January?

ok, so I see that you also made 15 transfers in last month so you also can be called trader :):)
My point is that at the moment we have a very well tuned transfer system that don't allow you to make money from daytrading, because the % from/after transfers will definitely kill the financial system of your team.

I think we can all agree that buying to improve your team (upgrades to certain positions) is different from buying for the sake of selling.
LA-Kukoc..you are right on the money. Superfly is just trying to protect his own kind that is all.

Getting good in this game is a marathon not a sprint. You are just trying to run before you know how to walk. Yeah, Mr. Wolf, let's not look at your Transfer list..wow...
BTW...Keeping a player for 2 months and training him and then selling him isn't Day Trading. Look at Mr. Wolph's Transfers for an example of day trading..

I upgraded positions on my team. I sold two draft picks and players I got 97% for their transfer. I said before..The one guy I had on my roster for less than a month( 3.5 weeks) got hurt and I lost money on his transfer.
I remember there was a commercial about Shark fin soup. If nobody bought the soup there would be no demand for shark fins. In turn, no sharks get killed.. Don't buy the players the Day Traders are selling and there will be no more day traders. Make them suffer and pay that salary for a couple of weeks. peace

Whenever you suggest anything, please try to think about the downside as well as the upside.
#1 really makes no sence, as with this you could have a 500k salary guy for 1000 salary. No need to get into that signing thing no more.
#2 Removing tax is not a good idea, we need money flowing out of the system. Tax does that. You can not actually lock any players value because of training. But buying just for selling seems so wrong when we are talking about basketball.

Ah ah! I think so that the problem isn't solved yet, since my thread (9808.1) almost 3 years ago something has been done but having time everybody can still make DT with quite good profit. The chemistry proposed by Josef probably is a good solution but I'm afraid about how it can be applied in the GE (BBs don't ban me pls) another easy solution is to have a taxation of the 50% in the first week, 60% in the second, 70% in the third, then after one month go back to the actual taxation system

The only thing I would alter to today is that each team should register its players for the competitions they are involved in.

ie. League - register up to 15 players before the first game of the season - and during the season you can add up to 3 new names to register with your original (totalling a maximum of 18.)

Cup and BB3 - just straight forward registration ahead of first match - this would then be your squad to select from come gamedays.

I think this would give more excitement to the transfer list during the normally quieter end of season weeks where many teams have just 2 games. Draft picks would become more meaningful and this would prevent the turning around of players.

The earlier weeks of the season maybe quieter this way around and as teams exit the cups they will have their scrimmages to play their new players if they have used up their league quota.
