I think that here must be mentioned also this. If the team will promote and play that international cup in higher division at the same time, might not have enough power to hold on both (get a good position in higher league and survive int. cup).

But you cannot give the opportunity to other teams, because there could be absolutely no will to promote, in order to play such a competition in lower league. Who knows when will have such opportunity in higher league.

So meanwhile this int. cup is ment to be a price for promoted teams, could be all troubles with that fixed simply by that if it would be not a cup, but a league. So you could fight international league whole season and best of these would play a PO (after a league PO would be more interresting).

I'm not sure if I understand you. B3 games are played in arcade mode (no TIE, no CT), minutes are not counted for training. So teams can set the best lineup they have for B3. So there is no impact on league and cup games.
I expect this international competetion would follow this format as well.

there is an small impact, if you take it serious - you could count with an TIE at least in the tuesday match.

Another question, when you make this cup to make a promotion more attractive, isn't there an risk that a demotion gets to attractive too? Which will at least make the 6 and 7 place more attractive, because you get the chanche on a international cup if you fail to stay in league.

Yes, this small impact is here. I try to play as many TIE's as possible while I'm still in B3, not only at Tuesday, especially few weeks at the start of the season when enthusiasm is low.

I think there should be any rule that you get that opportunity only once per life or at least once at the time (5 seasons).

I don't expect so high peputation of the competition that someone would relegate only for chance of playing it. Still should be more valuable to stay in higher division.

if you get money and fame etc ;)

And at least it make the tnaking for place 6 and 7 more attractive, because even when you loose your relegation unluckily you should get the possibility to get extra income and fame through a international competition soon(and i believe those team who tank fpor relegation have good chanches to promote again).

And if it get to complicate, just one participation over 5 years, and only teams with ... I don't think you reach managers with this, so rules of participation should be clear without looking at x cases.

Im proposing the competition for Division 2 winners only - nothing to do with 6th or 7th place.

The increase in bonus is a once off - so for yo-yo clubs the same bonuses would apply.

Extra incomes shouldn't be so high that it covers lost on gate receipts, TV etc. The chance of promoting after releagation si not so high. I think usually maximum 2 of 4 team in our country comes back next season after relegation from Div I.
I agree, rules should be as clear as possible

yeah but before you win div 2 you had to get there, and which makes promotion more lucrative makes also demotion out of league one more attractive(or less bad). Especially in countrys where you could count with some won rounds, and solid extra earning through this new cup.

And we have already have the problem that team tank into relegation, and the risk of the strategy becomes even smaller when the div 2 get more attractive for good teams.
