Well one thing is to consider that you can't see past hte top 4 stats and such when you see the add on TL search page.

If it says NT I'm gonna click on it, to see theo ther stats & other key factors and look at whichc country etc.

So of course I see its a lie after clicking, but what they've done is burn a click and tiem on me. Especially frustrating when the site is going really slow, which is pretty often for me.

Oh no! You clicked on something that wasn't what it claimed to be?!? On the internet?!!?

Surely you must be joking.

Sure the internet is full of jokers, fraud artists etc. That doesnt mean that BB has to put up with or encourage it in the way they run their site. I was simply suggesting that peopel shouldn't be able to lie about NT status in an add, since it is a variafiable thing.

I fail to see how BB is "encouraging" deception by simply allowing people to write text in a player add.

Should I be able to say 'legendary OD' in my adds even if its pitiful? Surely a line should be drawn between posing an opinion and offering falsifications of varifiable info.

Whether you "should" or not is a moral question for you to answer. The fact is that you can, just like I can make an ad claiming my player has awesome man-boobs and three legs.

I'm not disagreeing with you. I suppose what I'm trying to say is there's a fine line between stupidity and an outright lie, and stupid wins more often than not. If you think someone is cheating with one of their ads, have you tried using the "Report Cheaters" link to remedy such atrocities?

I gave you a ball for that post....I think it was the awesome man-boobs and three legs comment...Let's just say I have coffee all over my desk from that... ..Thanks again...

BTW...I saw a player on the TL yesterday with Strong rebounding, IS,ID and everything up top being pitiful on a 21 yr old Spanish player....The ad said " Under consideration for the U-21 team"...hahahahahahaha...That made me laugh too....

I would be more likely to buy a guy with an add that says '3 legs & man boobs' than one of these fake NT adds.

I might be inclined to bid on him.

Well, more inclined to do so than if you said "washboard abs and perfect hair." Everybody knows those guys are overpriced.

I understand you're point, but i definitely do not agree with all the fuss. When selling a player, the skills are visible for anyone so people can judge if the add is right or wrong when it says "U21/NT player".

Still, funny how i managed to sell my SG during the halloween week by writing on the add "3-pointer SG - Vampire Edition"

I doubt this is going to happen. I detest deceit as much as the next guy, but the buyer should do their due diligence.

This.

Plus, "U21" could simply mean he's under 21 years old, and "NT" could very well be transfer market specialist jargon for "not terrible" ;)
