Though honestly, it probably comes down to price for me. Unless I'm training Look Inside guards, I'm not going to bother training inside skills enough to make a difference. So the appropriate levels are the highest levels I can get without it costing me noticeably more, which is, I think, somewhere around mediocre.

Is this true? I've plugged various levels of IS on an SG into a few of the salary calculators, and have yet to see any change in salary from IS.

I think he meant "costs more on the transfer market" not "costs more in terms of wage".

Personally, I find this type of player useless. If it were my trainee, I'd spend the better part of the next couple of seasons getting his JR up to at least prominent before worrying about his IS.

As he currently stands, he isn't any sort of offensive weapon whatsoever. Sure, he can defend, but eventually the ball will be in his hands in a shooting situation, and the best chance he has to score right now is at the foul line.

IS is only good for guards, if u know hes going in

so as ID, if ur opponent is not going inside, why bother?

I own a guard with IS 11 and one with IS 1. Only difference I see is that the first ones IS are mostly dunks, whereas the second one attempts layups and rarely dunks. I dont know if that makes an difference in their IS FG% or the number of shot attempts.
