4) But...I don't believe you!

I'm not sure how I'd answer this one, but I will ask: if you were given the option to avoid skill increases from cross-training (all other effects would continue to apply; you'd just be giving up on increases with zero compensation), would you want it? If enough people actually would prefer that, it would be easy for us to implement...

Using Josef Ka's formula, he is indeed close to capped - his current value is 21.51 and he will cap somewhere between 22 and 24. Since he is a SG, here is the value of each pop:

JS 0.45 JR 0.50
OD 0.42 HA 0.05
DR 0.04 PA 0.08
IS 0.03 ID 0.05
RB 0.25 SB 0.03

Bascially he has 2 - 3 combined JS / JR / OD pops left. You are probably best to focus on secondary pops (PA/DR/HA - staying away from RB cause of the high value) until you are ready to cap him out.

-From the offsite. I was toldhe is close to capping. Is this information wrong? if so could some one plaese tell me what the correct number of points is, and what his cap is.

Another really awful element of this that wasn't thought out through this haphazard change was that cross-training isn't even fair. It can't be fair for everyone. I noticed that primary skills unrelated to training can pop through cross-training, so your league mates might be getting outside defence pops on their guards while you're getting shot blocking pops with yours. I thought it was inconceivable that cross-training would be this poorly thought out, but you can colour me surprised.

Wow.

Or it could be the other way around, also these extra pops would not be common enough to make that big of a difference.

It's not fair for someone. Any completely random advantage is not what we should be aiming for here.

I don't think that you get, that if someone gets an OD pop to MARVELOUS while not training OD (via crosstraining) then it's because the OD sublevel is SUPER HIGH and it won't make a big difference ingame because 14,99 IS THE SAME THING that 15,0, the only difference is that one says wondrous and the other says marvelous.

Yeah but its not like you'll be getting these random pops every week. If there is an advantage it is a small one at best, which is why I don't understand a lot of the complaining.

Because if you train OD 3 weeks, you can get 3 full pops in rebounding, and it goes from respectable to prominent and my player's salary will increase a lot and my player will cap and I DON'T LIKE THIS TRAINING CHANGE IT.

:Insert moar rage here:

Oh wait, that's not what is going to happen...

For managers who train in a monoskilled way this will have 0 impact. If they training an outside player, insted of having IS 2 or 3, they will have it in 3 or 4.

But when you train real SF's you can train in 1 season 3 different types of training. That's training your player in most of his skills, so it's false that i'm going to have 1 skill(with luck) from cross training.

Just an example, my SF is close to pop in;

JS
OD
ID
SB
IS

With crossed training i would get at least 4 skills up.

Now it's on 40k, but when he will be a 80k SF, ofc i won't be happy that he increases 1 level of RE or whatever skill he had high.

You understand now, that bad managers who train monoskilled players won't have any problems, but managers who care on training, will be affected by this bad system?

What you don't understand is that your player who increases the rebounding, just increases a small value which will contribute low to the salary because sublevels count in your player's salary.
