Blake, without a doubt, touched the rim when he dunked on Perkins. Go back and look at it from a couple angles, it's plain to see if you're looking for it.

He touches the rim. No question. Look at it from all angles. The last view in slow mo you can see his fingers bend upwards from hitting the rim. It's pretty clear in that view.

he touches the rim you may be blind but I assure you he does.Look it up on NBA.com Jan 31. His pointer and middle fingers curl as he touches the rim. THAT'S NO LAYUP! If it's not a dunk than the play he made it still better than Lebron's play. He said it himself.

Lebron who? lol I like that.
It is tough to see except for that last angle, so it's understandable to miss it at first glance.

Lebron's dunk is way better than Blake Griffins. And that was a layup over Perkins because he threw it in. For a dunk your hand must touch the rim.

His hand touched the rim....it makes his fingers move. You can see it on the close-up angle from in front of the basket.
That said, I think people just overlook LeBron's dunk because he's flipping LeBron and he "only" jumped over a 5'10" ish guy. I wanna see anybody who says "Yeah but Lucas was short" go out and jump over somebody about 8-10 inches shorter than them. I bet 95% of the ppl can't do it. And that's before you factor in LeBron did it while catching a ball and dunking it.
