Well,

Tried playing low-post. (2422025)
Went pretty bad... only 11 assists, bad FGP.
Maybe the opponents FCP ruined it.

Well, it was a tight game, but I would not blame low-post too much.

- FCP is more effective with slow tactics (15 TO seem reasonable).
- Your assists only came from 3 players (try to answer why).
- Your opponent made 10-17 3FG (2-3 defense has not paid).
- Poor FT for you, only 13-28.

Still, 37-81 2FG with average high vs inept medium... have you noticed at what seconds where your players taking most of the shots? If they were often taken in the last 2 seconds the shots are probably low probability and low-post did not pay off.

Hope this help :)

Of course it does.
When you've stated that FCP is more effective with slow tactics, did you mean from the presser side? If I had played Look Inside, would i have less TOs?

Regarding the second the shots were taken, I've watched the second half only and most shots were taken at the last 5 seconds, among them were some last seconds.
What bugged me the most, which is not Low-Post's fault was that my team missed most second chance attempts.

Well, I guess trying a new tactic on the hardest match in the season is not wise - but I've prepared my self for a loss anyway and tried to surprise him...

Exactly. Roughly speaking, the longer you have the ball in your hands, the more opportunity your opponent will have to steal it from you :)

if you play more careful passes the less to you got ;) I don't think that slow pace playing opponent makes a full court press more attraktive, and 15 TO against a press are quite normal.

But i don't like slow tactics generally, because the real bad shot management so they you take a lot poor shots t the end of the clock. maybe the BB could change that sometime ;)
