true! Interesting!

1 second, and a few that were 4 seconds, and a few that were 6 seconds.

All after steals.

well spotted

What I mean it ussually takes for an average NBA player to make it from 75+ feet to the hoop in less than 5 seconds....that's a true fast-break, right? If we knew where the steals were, that'd be different. But I'd like to see more fast-breaks or at least a few more fastbreak attempts. Makes the game more exciting. Usual steals are like this...........

Player A steals the ball.

15 seconds+ later...........

Player B takes a jump shot from the elbow, guarded closly by player E.........

shot missed

But what if it was a F-B?
It would've been two easy points right? When I play basketball (and everyone else) they usually when they make a wide-open steal, go straight to the basket and run hard, right????

yer in some cases, albiet Manon has proved that in his game, there were at least a handful of occassions where the steal was followed by a score 1, 4 and 6 seconds after the steal.

And his steals were 10+ seconds into the oppositions play, so they will be at least past the halfcout line.

So yer. fast breaks do happen.

But still, not enough really.

Steals should be rewarded more by more easy point imo. but they do happen the question is how they are seen by the ge. if defenders also have time to get back and in some way defend

Since GE has all players height etc. Being equal speed and strength. There in lies a problem with fastbreaks. Everyone runs the speed of Ty lawson. a PG won't "out race" a 7'5 Center.

Nah, not a problem. Although speed/strength skills would be easy toss ins.

throw speed stuff on outside shooting and defenses and etc. Power on inside stuff and rebounding (reobunds come from boxing out which takes power), etc. etc. some variance of base starting speed/strength.

too complicated to think right now. worked 35 hours straight, love OT, but ugh.

More frequent than that, though, is that steals are rewarded by a turnover back in the other direction. There's often a stretch of match where it appears more to be volleyball than basketball.

Yeah that happens a lot. This is one of the funniest such events i seen so far:
2 11:13 14 — 17 R. Renda (H) intercepted a pass.
2 11:06 14 — 17 Foul called on B. Refaelov (A).
2 10:58 14 — 17 F. Utterholt (A) stole the ball.
2 10:46 14 — 17 Ball stolen by M. Anzelin (H).
2 10:29 14 — 17 Ball stolen by V. Diamantidis (A).
2 10:08 14 — 17 R. Renda (H) intercepted a pass.

Yeah, I am pretty sure I've seen cases with at least four consecutive TOs and I want to say five as well.

The other thing that's kind of funny is the sort of opposite effect, where a team will miss a shot and either grab the offensive rebound or the defender will fumble it out of bounds for four or five attempts. It becomes especially fun when a trip to the free throw line is in the middle.
