That game proves nothing. The problem is you are in div. V and teams there are so bad, you cant really tell the difference between what is working or what is not.

Although as a general rule of thumb, box and one defences don't work too well, and are highly situational

And I completely agree with you.
I may use a box defence once during a full season. Usually with good results, but I don't know if I won those games because I used that defence. Also, I don't have the best players for this defence.

He means if want to use a box defence or zone defence ,and if you want to have a good result with that ,all your players have to be good in OD and ID,because your player can defend against the PG,but the next minute he could be defending the Center.
Sometimes managers complain that 2- 3/3-2 and box does not work,but in most cases they don't have the players with the right skills to play a zone defence or box.

Yeah that's true - bad tactics with my rooster it is cause why i lost my two last games.
It's hurt but now i'm smarter thanks to these matches.

Clearly i think that it works too with offense tactics. I remember time when i played this game first and there are one king - rng. I think that today - it is still good tactic (even comparison with li and lp) but it is near impossible to get proper player...
I thinka more pa on bigs, more jr on guards and sf (i know that is expensive) maybe more hn and dv + cheap shotnlocking.... yeah shotblocking i think it is good skill today. And for sure with proper id
