KD did set his reminder and he's back from the dead. At least that should make the relegation battle a open. After today the situation is becoming clearer.
Only math separates Galaxy Walkers from the top seed in the Big 8. Zeus and Vecx will have 2nd and 3rd, unless Vecx manages to catch Galaxy but the +246 PD seems a bit too much to overcome in 3 games also considering the head to head. Sabres and Tatatallfella are safe and are battling for the last playoff spot. Elmacca is the heavy favourite for that 4th spot, since he has the easiest calendar in the entire conference in the last 3 games.
The relegation slots can only go to 3 teams, but interestingly they all play each other in the last 3 games. Arrelles need to get an extra win since he has the walk-out game and will always rank below the other 2 if they end with the same record.
On the Great 8 side, Lemurs had already clinched the top spot last week. The battle for 2nd seems to be restricted to the Stinkies and Deportivo San Andres (who had an amazing comeback in the 4th quarter today) who play each other on saturday. Outside shot for A Dogs who might win his last 3 games, but he needs too many results to go his way.
For relegation spots the battle is open and includes all the teams ranked 4-6, who have 10, 9 and 8 victories respectively. Erks are almost guaranteed a spot in the relegation series and barring miracles Phoenix will relegate (over -600 PD difference and 3 wins back from 7th place).
If Lemurs does not come back, I think a blue team is highly likely to win again this season, but at least the playoffs on the red side might be more interesting. Even with KD back I think the red teams have a good chance of winning their relegation series.
