I'm still trying to weigh up whether I have a better chance of winning the ABBL or the Battlers Tournament this season. I'd prefer to win the league if possible, but the tournament is still a good trophy to win, as it qualifies you for the B3 and can be considered a 'national championship' in it's own right...


I think you should go for the league. The Cup is over rated

Yeah I was planning it, haven't had a cup run for awhile. Good for the bb gods to help me out in the next round and 2 easier league games as well so no damage done really.

Good luck in the cup this season Mundy. I had to go for the league since I don't think Koop is going to stay on just one loss for long, and with the bad luck curse being transferred from me last season to whitewind this season this could be the best chance I get at the ABBL title for a while...

I was definitely punching above my weight. But after such a good start the wagon has started to fall apart. 1 week injury to my best player. Dejevu of last season it seems.

Well almost all the abbl teams rolled snake eyes. Thats means nearly half of them will get wiped next Thursday night.

Well I talked up Bryce and WA's chances at the start of this season in the ABBL thread and he's proven why I thought he was a potential title contender by winning the Tournament. Super Sebe with 51 points in the Patient offence.

One however wonders if Kobe might have had a chance of winning this game had Hoyos been healthy, as that may have given them them the rebounding advantage that they didn't have in practice, and also given Andrst, who shot 3-13 on the night, another dominant option to pass to.
