Short news from European Championships:

The biggest positive surprise of trunamanet is Israel, which won yesterday with Spain (60172). This incredibly impressive because Spain had home court advantage and both teams played with the same attitude. It's completely outstanding and unexpected result. Israel lost only one game with Hungary (e.g. very smooth wins with Italy, Poland, Greece, Turkey) and they are leader of group in second phase of EC with guaranted place in semi-final (medal secured) before last games. Spain is very close to semi-final too.

In second group Italy (another team, which promoted to second phase from our group) is a leader, but situation is more complicated, because still 4 teams: Italy, Germany, Belgium and Croatia will fight for semi-final.

European Championships was finished. Spain won, which was a host of EC (home court advantage, what won by winning Consolation Turnament with us). Our rivals from group stage Italy and Israel was defeated in semi-finals and finished turnaments with bronze medals.

We are starting new season in which we take part in Consolation Turnament on Monday with game against Indonesia. Only one goal on this season: final win! Keep fingers crossed for Lithuania!
