Can anyone explain why people even create these ads and if they are effective? I get that BB.com gets money for hosting them, but why would anyone click some of the nonsense ones? How do they make money by placing an ad saying "Fart Button: Press it!"

I don't get it!

I'm looking at the University of Liverpool banner here and....there is a little asterik followed by 'participation required.' You mean I have to participate, that is to say what, take a class or read a book, if I want to get a degree?

I'm not clicking on that banner. Give me an online university that awards credentials without my participation!

i dont mind the ad but can u take out the sound?
