exactly this is what you said; your own quote

Try using Strictly Follow Depth Chart instead of Let Coach Decide. The coach will replace your starter if he decides that one of his substitutes is better fit for the position.

He will not pick the subsitute if he is better fit for the position... I know this for sure because I use strictly follow depth chart and all the things that happen when you pick let coach decide "good or bad things" don´t happen or barely happen.

If you are trying to win games, I wouldn´t choose strictly follow depth chart. I would only recommend it for teams that are building and need training minutes for their players. I can solidly train 6 players every week...

Right. He will pick whoever he think is better when using LCD. Obviously, that's why I am suggesting using Strictly Follow the Depth Chart instead.

Well, I thought that LCD would keep your starters and let him decide when to replace them, but not to completely change your starting lineup. That's why I said that if that's the correct behaviour, sending a lineup with LCD is useless.

yes mate. that is what can happen if you use lcd. If you are 30 points ahead, it can happen that the coach replaces all your starters and i even have seen people loose the game because their back up players werent that good.

I know that, and it's complete normal and logical. What I mean is that he will replace your starters at the START (that is, your team will start with OTHER players different than what you sent in your lineup) of the match, which is not logical at all.

Well in my experience, my coach seems to play the starter for 30+ minutes and the sub for 10+ minutes everytime I use LCD. I'm not sure if the GE had changed anything about it yet but I haven't used it recently due to my players needing training minutes. So now I use strictly follow depth chart.

That's exactly what I experience with all the other players. He can sub whenever he wants and even used the reserves at several positions at blowout time, when using LCD, except with those players from the 1st post.

Yes, I understood you and I said that I experience the same for all the positions (starter ~35 minutes, sub ~15). That's why I opened this topic, because it surprised me that my coach didn't pay attention to my orders and didn't start the player I wanted in my last 2 matches, and didn't use my sub PG also. Something is weird over there and I'm just trying to understand why that happened.

I think it is al ost battle arguing with you but - LCD
. The coach will replace your starter if he decides that one of his substitutes is better fit for the position.

if you mean either
i) Strictly follow depth chart - you are confusing the asker here; coach will let the starter play and eventually will sub him because fouls stamina etc. Yes if the backup is significatnly better, he will (probably) send him on court a little bit sooner than in opposite case. But stamina and fopukl problems of the starter have much stronger impact.
ii)Let Coach Decide - No, that's simply not true, unless you are reffering to all dressed players as substitutes. And there is not really "the position".

Then, judging by what the rules say, there's clearly a bug or something fishy here somewhere, because my starter did not start. Heck, he didn't even play the 1st match, and just played 1 minute the 2nd one (not starting).
