7 weeks this season.

I guess you can leave his atrocious free throws for now, because can can hit some (.155) which means he has at least some sublevel.

I would give him a stamina pop so he doesn't tire so easily. If you want him to start and not have performance fade, stamina will help.

So...

1 OD pop (1-2 weeks depending on sublevel)
1 ST pop (same)

After that it depends on your (or the U21 coach's) preference for more offense or defense.

1 IS + 1 JS pop for offense
1 ID + 1 SB pop for defense

If time, add a pop of rebounding.

I would also start keeping his minutes per week in the 60-65 range to demonstrate you can keep a player in strong-proficient GS. Then he will actually play up to his skills and be eligible to play in U21 games.

That's all right, you can message me.
I would prefer if he got 2 JS pops.
So, One on One for forwards.
An OD pop.
Than 2 ID pops to support the second big man who I will contact.

To Cletus: Why do we have this thread if we're too scared to speak.

"Canadian Player Advice" doesn't need to be "Public Canadian U21 and NT Player Advice"

Stamina: average Free Throw: awful

Alec Cockayne (36038436)
Age: 18
Height: 6'10" / 208 cm
Potential: hall of famer

Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: atrocious
Driving: atrocious Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: awful
Stamina: inept Free Throw: inept

What shall I do?

Who are your other trainees? (Or are you willing to make the HOF your main trainee for many many seasons?)

The HOF needs a bunch of outside defense right off the start or he'll be useless.

Alec PRO: easy ability to become a quality NT player
Alec CON: it would take too many training weeks to make him salary efficient

I'd keep him but I'm pretty casual right now. If you have higher team aspirations, it'd probably be best to sell him.

Those two players could conceivably be trained together for a season, but anything more than that is pushing it. You'd probably get best value selling one of them now.
