I was very excited for their first trip to the dance in the school history but I was also quite realistic about their chances their. ;) Sweet 16 would have caused chaos at UCI. :)

I took a chance on them. I loved their size and three point shooting along with the SacTown native, Will Davis II. I knew they would give teams fits. I still think they should be in the sweet 16 right now. Next season they should be scary! Yikes.

Note to self: this is the time of season to dismantle a team. i can't believe the prices players are getting.

I can't believe it's been 11 days in between NBBA teams posting in the NBBA forum.

Not going lie I am the biggest Toronto Traptors fan at the moment as his win along with mine will help seal my fate of staying around another year. I don't care to be the 4 seed, I just damn sure do not want to be the 6 seed. I would love to sell off some of my older players after Tuesday night's game and take advantage of the crazy market.

i'm sure you have been aware of it for sometime, but having Anchorage to play is a fortunate schedule break --

but there is no predicting how each team will approach the final two games:
-- Tucumcari has a great chance at a Cup title and has locked up HCA -- they could coast / experiment with their final two games.
-- High Point wins one game and has HCA against Delta
-- Delta could get HCA, with some assistance.
-- You and Toronto should defeat Anchorage, but both have to play EDH.
-- EDH, if they win twice, makes the playoffs, possibly --
-- Barbarian may benefit from resting opponents, and win twice.

doesn't take much for teams 4 through 7 to all be 11-11, with EDH in the playoffs because of PDA.

should be fun. for observers.

I think Barbarian Marauders would object to the schedule break as he took the approach of resting his starters when Anchorage decided to go for it's first win in the NBBA. I won't make the same mistake as I will approach the game with the intentions of winning it. Um, well, no, you shouldn't actually because it's pretty embarrassing.

I'd like to. Last season I felt like I was there, but a mix of a bad tactical decision and two flagrants in one minute to a key player killed that. I don't think I was the best team when IYF or Pappy were in the league, though, and Yuck had a team probably every bit as good as mine.

But it's definitely this season or not at all for a while. A lot of what I've done has been around having six main cogs that I've developed and then adding the other guys around them, but one of the six has already hit some serious skill drops this season and I don't have much time left with the other two guard types. I already know if I do promote I'm going to give it one season to see how I fare, and then it's rebuild time. If I don't promote (and don't win the Cup), I think I'm moving to rebuild mode now. The one thing I don't want to do is promote and not compete, and I know I can't count on this team being competitive in two seasons.

The sad thing is that I'm almost to the point now where I'd prefer to miss out again this season. I can deal with Menard losing skills because he is demonstrably and incontrovertibly the ugliest player in the whole of BB, an awful player and an even worse rapper. But next season seeing those down arrows hit Wray is going to suck.
