Great post mikramus! and well put.

I am curious about something. has anyone got experience of what other u21 or nt teams do to encourage success whether it is player development or tactics or anything like that?

For example im thinking how responsibilities could best be divided across staff members and what they should do to contribute usefully to the national franchise.
Do other nts have a manager and assistant managers? im sure this could be helpful and also manage succession over time
what about a pr guy who watches england nt matches then posts a match report?
This would be cool on the new blog? (see news)
Long term scouting of opponents...
Can anyone think of other jobs? Big or small!

Hello

After being the NT coach for a few months now, I noticed that we have plenty off good guars and we have some great guards being trained too. If all the prospects are being trained to their full potential than we are well prepared in the guards positions for the next 10 seasons or so.

The problem is that we are lacking good trained SF, PF and C.

When I decided to train for the NT, I picked guards, 1. i didnt know we already have so many good guards and 2.this is what I have always been doing. However, I sold my whole team and wanted to train for the NT. So, in the near future (season and a half) i want to add some value to my guards, sell them off and than buy SF and PF prospects.

Now my question is, I have this player, is anyone interested in buying him from me? now or before the end off the season or during next season? and continue the training that he needs so he can become a great guard and possible NT player? He needs surely 4-5 seasons more training, with a level 5 trainer. Please contact me if you are willing and capable off training this guy. If you want to buy him over the course off this season or during the next season. I could try and train the player to anyones wish.

hello

2 new players on the TL that maybe with good training could become one day a NT player.

The first guy is a bit behind and overpriced and he has low passing, but with alot JS, JR, 1vs1 for forwards and OD training he could become a very nice shooting guard in 4-5 seasons time.

Hugo Wyco (16307203) Starting Price: $ 1 200 000
Auction ends: 15/09/2011 19:02:39
Owner: LoW KK

Weekly salary: $ 13 876
Age: 22
Height: 6'3" / 190 cm
Potential: MVP
Game Shape: strong
Jump Shot: tremendous Jump Range: prominent
Outside Def.: prominent Handling: sensational
Driving: prolific Passing: inept
Inside Shot: inept Inside Def.: atrocious
Rebounding: pitiful Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: atrocious Free Throw: pitiful

Experience: awful

also a very nice SF trainee for sale or perhaps PF (for which he is a bit small) or a nice guard with inside skills. Something which would make him a really good prospect for the U21 and NT. Asking price a bit too high, but for 1 million he could be someones dream player one day. I did email the owner and asked him if he would sell for 1 million.

Christopher Granbalagh (21068838) Starting Price: $ 1 500 000

Goodness, Granbalagh is a nice trainee! I could see him as the ideal SF that is able to guard anyone.

Well you could have replied either confirming that you would sell him on that date, or letting me know you can't. My original plan was to only train him a little bit, but then i changed my mind and I now want to train him quite a lot for a few seasons. However I never said I would train him to NT standard, and i stick by that, I wont. So if you want to sell him to a manager that will train him to NT standard that's fine. But if you don't mind, My offer stands.

ok. than i will keep him for now. with his HoF potential and the skill set he already has, it would be a waist not to train him up to NT potential.
