I really like the predicting option. In real life professional teams would study their next opponent watching many hours of tape, have coaches and assistants list down and give briefings on different player's tendency, how the tactic develops, rotations, special picks and plays.

Shouldn't defensive tactics exist for that already? The probelm is that defensive tactics other than M2M often don't work, and because LI is the dominant offensive tactic, BBs decided to pull out this kind of trick instead of developping the game engine to make all the tactics actually available work properly

I can't read everything. Do you have a link, please?

Ten days old thread from the Help forum, no I can't. Marin did not say it on forums, altough he confirmed it to at least three people and there has been a bit of a stir on a thread in the Help forum when said.

So you'll have to believe me, I can't do more.

Either BB-Marin made a mistake or there has been a bug in German Bundesliga: (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/league/212/draftSummary.aspx) and (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/league/212/overview.aspx?seas...)
Rucker Squad got the 6th pick but if the rule had been applied he should have drafted 10th.

Good to see Jump Range not costing an arm and a leg anymore. Hopefully this will translate to a more realistic % of 3 pointers being made in a few seasons time in the top leagues, as people start training up more 3 point specialists.

First of all, i will renew my supporter package, excellent job.

I really like the news, im not sure of the guessing the opponent strategy, but im in favor beacouse it will change something in the game.
To all of us that have been playing this game for a 10-15 seasons a change like that can motivate us to not to do always the same things, probe others and experiment, like in season 3 when we were all in the same knowledge position.

Some uruguaians users leave the game beacouse its always the same things, no majors changes, so thank you!

In the other hand i think you must integrate more the spanish communitys, you only speak in english so a lot of times spanish communitys are like and island, they dont know BBs exist, and that its not good for a lot of users...

Thanks all for the feedback, whether it’s positive or negative please continue to discuss as much as possible ;)

The tactical feature is slight different from fine-tuning how the tactics work for one important reason, and this is the benefits of ‘breaking’ the optimal strategy. But please do keep in mind that the lower costs of SB and JR should eventually lead to some more diverse skillsets that allow playing tactics like a 2-3 zone or a motion more effectively – which I believe, unlike some other comments I read, thus challenges one of the root causes of tactical dominance. Aside from this, of course even with this feature it is still most important to set your tactics correctly and on top of that if you want to guess the tactics (not obligatory) you can earn a little bonus for taking some risk of getting a hit. Well, actually, it's not really guessing. It's understanding your opponent's team, scouting the players and anticipating to possible tactics, quite fun if you ask me.

If a situation similar to the one we are in now consists for a longer period of time, i.e. teams playing one dominant tactic every week, the benefits from switching to another tactic increase considerably. One of the users in this topic mentioned two teams always playing LI + setting the feature to defend LI. If you expect this situation to happen, then switching tactics is more beneficial as this will not only result in possible wrong set defensive tactics but also on top of that a negative hit for the team setting the wrong expectations. This increases the incentives for setting possibly less effective tactics.

Let me get back to you on this, but I'm 99% sure it also affects potential caps.

First I like most of the new changes and I applaud the BB staff for their hard word. But I respectfully disagree on this tactic prediction. Unless I'm mistaken, the off/def tactics were designed to counter each other if they work as intended. The reason we are at a state where one dominant tactic exits is because some of these tactics don't work as designed and/or teams not building correct players to make full use of them. Either way, telling team not to build around one specific tactic is not the answer to this.

I beg to differ. A team can still build around a specific tactic, but it could also cause the manager to think/buy players/prepare for a secondary offensive tactic. Let's say that Team A usually uses Motion, but knows that Team B adjusts its defense based on their opponent's offense. If Team A has a few players with nice secondaries, they can switch to, for example, PTB. I think it encourages tactical diversity and makes the manager think more. Sure, knowing that my opponent could guess right and beat me in a close game is a bit annoying, but it makes the game a lot more fun.
