7 in OD for an inside player of +100k salary is not high, is next to that, try to train a 213 tall in OD much time ...


i did. 18yo, popped after two weeks.

yes from 7 to 8. also he popped from 7 to 9 in passing in three weeks. from 4 to 6 in JR in 5 weeks. 9 pops in total all in outside skills. when he was 18yo.

you can find him on my roster. he's 19 now. it's not that i'm a good trainer. it's just people are afraid to try. and with next season changes training skills out of position will be even more beneficial than it is now. just try it for yourself.

I have a 6'10"/208 with prolific OD actually. ;) But yes, I know that it's hard. The point is that in zones, players could probably benefit from more defensive balance, even if that means just 9 or 10 OD.

Now I'm not arguing that centers need OD to succeed in 2-3 zones. I'm just pointing out that 7 OD is not very high at all, when you consider that some are drafted with 7 OD to start.
