Up to now we always knew what secondary skills a basic skill improves. That did not mean any loss because I knew that if I train passing for eg. that would result in some improvement in handling, and if I switch to handling training later it would pop in less time. Now, 10% randomly goes to somewhere, even to the reboundig of a shooting guard, that in my opinion very few managers will switch to in the case of a shooting guard. That is a loss. I made it clearer for you... That is never the same speed, everyone will recognize it in a very short time (starting with today's practice).

And just one more thing. Nobody can make a good lifetime training plan for players from now on, just because of what I mentioned above. If you do not know where the 10% went, and you want to switch training you will never have any idea how much secondary improvement your players have and in which skills the improvements are. You will lose a further week or two by shooting with a rifle at a blank page until you find what you were looking for. That is a slowdown effect too, and a further loss in time.

This is great! Your guard will be better at defending layups

Charles said: the changes were announced and we should have been prepared.
Free throws give a passing up. Really? How could this be prepared? Those people who have made unique players spending much time and loosing games will definitely suffer now. The price of such players will go down. Ridicolous. The users with young trainees will get more advantage while the users having older trainees or capped players will not get much extra-pops.

Do you think that the up-to-now secondary skills will now longer be trained?
I didn't read it that way at all. The way I interpreted the news is that everything will be exactly the same, except that primary training will be reduced by around 10% for the average guy and that 10% reduction distributed to other areas. Could be secondary skills (meaning they might now pop faster occasionally) or a third set of even more remotely related skills.

Your second point is just not true. You don't actually have any idea what the real levels of a new player are anyway and you don't have any idea of a skill that has never been trained. So that's not really much different. I don't think the 10% cross training skill is going to create many pops that will ruin careers. I might be wrong but I doubt it.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

If the current training is not a bug - I'd say that the news post is still pretty much confusing. It could be better to say: Primary training will be reduced by 10%, and for these 10% you receive some totally random pop-up.

True, but as with all other new things in BB, I think BB developers want us to discover this

No, one more user reported pop-up at IS while training FT. The player seemed to be capped by his words. I trust him.
