Thanks, man. I appreciate it. I’m not one to rest on my laurels, though. It’s been a minute since I’ve proved myself worthy of any major titles. It seems I’m in an uphill battle myself just to avoid relegation.

Best of luck to you as well. After your cup loss, blood was spelt. Now you’ll have to fend off the sharks to retain your title reign.

I have a lot of respect for your team as well. Like Yuck said, your run of 3 straight NBBA titles and cups is a very impressive accomplishment that'll be tough to match. I managed to do it in one season, but it seemed easier back then, and I can't imagine doing it again now with the level of competition in the Great 8.

Thanks, man. Yeah, I agree, as BB evolves so does the competitive level — which is great. My aim was to establish my own dynasty and carve my name into the record books, as many managers have done before me. But records are there to be broken. That’s the fun part.

In 390 BC Rome was sacked by an army of Guals, a “barbarian” like people, led by Brennus. The Romans quickly pleaded for a ransom to free their city. Brennus demanded his weight in gold. The conditions were agreed upon and the Romans eagerly brought forth the gold. Brennus supplied his own scale. However, when the gold was weighed the Romans cried out that the scale was unbalanced and thus unfair; to which Brennus exclaimed: Vae Victus! (In English: woe to the vanquished). He then threw his sword on the scale and the Romans were forced to bring more money in order to counter balance the weight of the sword and to of course free their city.

The moral of the story: the vanquished do not determine fairness and what’s deserved. Interestingly enough, but probably to no ones surprise, the mighty Roman Empire soon after defeated and overthrew the out numbered Gallic army and thus never paid the ransom. You will your day of reckoning, but that day is not today. Now be gone thot. I am displeased by your presence.

Brennus? Epic response. Literally epic. I can see Tar Team’s point but the response is profound. Well played.

It get’s even more epic: The argument about the weights had apparently prolonged matters enough that the then exiled Roman dictator, Marcus Furius Camillus, had enough time to form an army in retaliation, return to Rome and completely annihilate the Gauls and Brennus. The dictator’s response: “not by gold, but by iron, is the nation to be recovered.”

Time will till if TarZip will bring forth the iron fist of justice. I look forward to this eventful moment.
