Nah mediocrity is sacrificing the season to win a game very far away from the final. It is like crunching the defending champ
Most teams winning the senior consolation tournament are between 20-30 in size. Holland is 34th. Ukraine of course is 33rd. Unless you really believe that they had 4% chance to win on a CT and absolutely 0% to win on a Normal.
Me and Gully have had our large share of disagreements and if you go check the English forums you will see much worse stuff than the nasty exchanges you had on the Canadian boards at the time Sparky was your coach. Read that and tell me again about our bromance lol. Logic is logic, that's it...
Wanna perhaps ask Darkonako why he's TIEing every game in the U21 worlds even against US and China? Ask him why he's reducing his chances on single games. Is it perhaps because he's trying to win the tournament? Sure his starting odds were much better but he's doing his best to maintain or improve those odds. Reducing your chances from 1% to 0.1% (for the tournament) is the exact opposite.
Maybe next worlds Pakistan can NOR Spain and get a win, and save enthusiasm for future games too! 'Cuz anyone can beat anyone right?
I never claimed that anyone can beat anyone, that random results happen, others did. In fact if you read I said that based on the actual statistics and play-by-play the game makes no sense. You gave Holland a 3-4% chance of winning. I just explained the logical conclusion of such an opinion.
Pakistan is a micronation they are not a nation with a full D2 which should be enough to field a decent lineup. Holland already proved against Serbia that it was more than decent as a team at that level.
In any case it's a free world. You want to commit suicide? Waste your Ent and crunch all you want and by all means go out gun blazing. Want to win even though the chance is slim? Save your energy for the long run. I really can't believe people who think there's always a chance are also those who say prioritise a battle over the war.
