Just personal preference of mine, but I almost always do one position training. I think is more valuable to train up 3 well rounded 50k+ players and fill in the holes of your roster through the TL, than training 5-6 25k players who are all average. At the same time if you are just planning on training them when they are young and then selling 2-3 of them around 20-21 and switching to one position training later on, while making some cash along the way selling the trainees you don't want to keep, that can also be smart. Training 2-3 players is just easier to manage them minutes wise and get a clear plan on what you want to do if you are just beginning learning how to train.

not sure what those 25-50k values refer to, but I assume we are talking about salaries.
the more I read and see the replies here, the more I am inclined to switch to a 3-men training plan (the only issue is that I'd need to give up on one or potentially 2 of my "sweethearts" - I am still a tad confused on what should I keep). I am not keen on making money right now, but that's probably because I don't understand the scale of the financial output in the game

PS: Do like your footer with Denver champions (not sure it'll happen, but it is nice - that coming from an NBA noob might not mean a lot though)

Actually, I am going to put them up for debate now that 3-men training plan looms around

a 97 TSP PG at the age of 23 and potential 7 with 20 Driving and Handling, yet shitty everything else (a 14 JS and 12 IS with the rest fairly bad)

a 68 TSP PG at the age of 20 and potential 6 with most of the skills at around 8 (other than IS, which is at 2 and OD which is at 5)

a 52 TSP C at the age of 19 and potential 7 with IS, Driving, ID and SB at 8/9 and the rest...fairly bad

a 58 TSP PG at the age of 19 and potential 6 with JS, Driving, Passing and ID at 8 with the rest at 6 and under

a 47 TSP SF at the age of 18 and potential 9 with 7 in both ID and JR and well...not impressing in anything else

which 3 would you guys keep? I don't why, but I have a thing for the C, but with enough persuasion I will consider re-focusing the training around guards

Yes, salaries, you got it!

I think I'll like the footer better next year:

Murray - Harris - MPJ - Grant - Jokic NBA Champs 2021

I love Danmark by the way. I studied abroad in Eutin, Germany for 3 months and visited København for four days. It was beautiful. Nyhavn is so cool!

hehe
I am not saying that it might not happen, but I feel like it's highly unlikely (not even sure they'll make the conference finals this year...or the next, with both LA teams having all their heavy guns fully loaded and Dallas bringing the cake to the table - I mean, sure, Porter and Murray are young and they can turn into something great, but the Denver way of playing is easy to defend, even with Jokic in top shape...but that comes from a dude that started watching NBA/Basketball about a year ago). But aye, fingers crossed that at least it will be a team from the west that wins it not really a fan of anyone, but I do like watching teams like Lakers (not necessarily with Davis on), OKC or Dallas play (used to even like boring Rockets when Capela was still there)

Denmark is alright I guess it's harder to appreciate if being a part of it for so long (I am a Jutlander myself, so Copenhagen will always have a bitter taste...but it does have its nice sides). If I were to pick a dream country, it'd have to be South Korea though.

I think you have a good grasp of where the Nuggets are at! We are certainly one more piece away and still too young. The ideal thing to happen in my eyes is for Washington to realize they are wasting Bradley Beal and work a trade with the Nuggets.

Trade:

Nuggets receive: Bradley Beal
Wizards receive: Gary Harris, Will Barton, Bol Bol, 2020 first round pick, 2022 first round pick, 2021 second round pick

Then the Nuggets would have Murray, Beal, MPJ, Grant, and Jokic.

Their ages are as follows:
Beal - 26
Jokic - 25
Grant - 26
Murray - 23
MPJ - 21

Jokic, Murray, and MPJ are all signed through 2021-2022 and all of these players will be entering their prime or in their prime two seasons from now (excluding MPJ, but he is so good with so much upside, his pre-prime is probably as good as many up and coming stars primes. I think MPJ in two seasons will be about as good as Pascal Siakam is right now (skillsets a little bit different, but talent wise I think it will be similar).

LeBron will likely be turning into more of a role player at this point as he will be 37, and the Clippers "win now" mode will be over in 2-3 seasons whether they won a championship or not, as both Kawhi and PG have player options that year and their salaries are insane. I think as long as Giannas Antetokounmpo doesn't create another super-team, the Nuggets have a really good chance for a 3 year window around there. I've put a lot of thought into it as you can tell.

didn't know that a Beal trade was something that Denver would want. He's a great shooter and definitely a great player...I just fail to see how Denver will handle playing at a faster pace. Wouldn't that pull Jokic out of most offensive actions? Some of Denver's most epic losses this season where on the back of Murray rushing the game and Jokic becoming a tiny bit of a liability (not to mention that now Murray..or well, in past few matches, started to take more 3s). I watched around 10-12 matches that Denver played this season and I think half of them were losses (might be just me bringing them bad luck), including the last 2 losses against Cleveand (?!?!) and the Dallas demolition

Not to mention that there were rumors of Utah being interested in Beal (I guess that Mitchell becomes an option then), but I don't really believe that sort of talk. I do believe though that Wizards could do with some more first round picks, but then again, who would say no to that.

That being said, I am up for anything that will make NBA even more engaging and interesting. Whether that means that a team like Denver will light up the league in a couple of seasons or some old but gold players will still impress, I really don't care Anything goes as long as the entertainment value keeps increasing (that being said, I am one of the few that doesn't get the Giannis hype ...but then again, I know so little about basketball).

But getting back on the topic of this thread, out of those players that I've listed, which ones would you consider for a 3-men training plan?

I'd go for the 68, 58 and 47 TSP guys, but it would be nice to know their height to see if they're compatible to train together.

If you go with the tried and true 1v1 training first to increase the elastic effect, you can keep training all your players for the time being, as it trains 2 positions. If rebounding is in your plans too (probably not if you're training guards), you can train that after that as it's 2 positions too.

so basically training a double position ID right now is one of the worst things I could have started my training experience with

I guess I was blinded by Denize's looks and by the fact that most of my points scored against me were from the paint (which could just be my bad interpretation of the ID I guess)

the 68 is Height: 6'6" / 198 cm
the 58 is Height: 6'1" / 185 cm
the 47 is Height: 6'4" / 193 cm

now that I look at their heights, I feel even more stupid for training them in ID

my 52 is Height: 6'7" / 201 cm
and my 97 is Height: 6'8" / 203 cm

not that keen on training rebounding (unless I am missing something and it is actually a top skill)

uuhhhh, so I did fail massively by starting with ID
at least now I know

I managed to bring my young "star" center from 6 to 8 in half a season in ID + he got one more pop in IS (now he is at 9)

PS: I just realized that in the beginning I had 2 weeks of IS training, but at that point didn't know what's up. However, I did get 6 players to pop in those 2 weeks
