You wrote that you now do more scouting than before
if you use B-M already, how are you doing more?
What more do we need than a team's history of previous tactics?

When a team uses inside isolation, in the real basketballworld, it means the whole team creates space (isolation play) for their big man to post up and go one on one. This might end up in a double team... If the big man can pass, he will always find an open player. In that way it will be balanced, cause the focus might be inside... it creates balanced opportunities for a team. This might be why the GE says it is normal. Seems pretty ok to me...

I actually need to know teams' history and previous tactics now. Before I felt like I didn't need to look at a team.

Question was not for me, but I found my self doing following scouting even if I also use B-M:
- browsing transfer list to find out what kind of players my opponents are looking for
- analyzing opponent players one by one, records from previous games (points, rebs, steals etc)

Based on above "scouting" I try to guess what kind of tactics would be possible for my opponent...and good evidence from this successful scouting....I guessed today all wrong

Of course, the bonus is just smaller.

ex. guess both right: +4 pts, guess one right and the other is blank: +2 pts. something like that

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Thanks to the GDP, I find myself scouting opposing teams much more thoroughly, which is one of the more fun parts of the game.

+1 Exactly!! It adds a lot of strategy to the game. It's a little unrealistic but I still like it for the game factor.

What happens if the team guesses one right and second wrong?
Are both selections with the same value?

Also there should probably be not possible to select pairs that are impossible. I saw several teams going Inside attack and normal tempo(there is no such style in GE).

I am not sure, but I think they cancel each other and you don't get a defensive bonus if I remember correctly, so the both values should be the same or nearly equal. As long as they are not living in North Korea, I see no problem to let them freely choose pairs that are not possible, managers can do with their teams whatever they want.

In the game manual there are some offenses listed as slightly increased pace, and also some that say outside/midrange. What GDP do you choose to affect a "Slightly" increased pace and "midrange".
