A couple weeks ago I bought a 29k salary level 5 trainer for 560k with no specialty. The new feature has a no specialty level 5 trainer going to 600k and 25k salary.

So based on my recent example the price seems reasonable, but I'm sure there's comparable trainers that have gone for less, and probably more. So basically this new feature just means you can save the time of trolling the staff transfer list and just get a guy that isn't too low or too high.

Of course that is based on my recent experience. All in all they could have spent their time better somewhere else improving the game, but it is what it is.


I'm also not sure whether it's as far off as it sounds here. I paid 2.6M for a lvl 6 trainer around 25k salary without specialty. The price here is 2.0M for 35k salary, which I probably would find slightly worse, but 2.0M with 40k salary with career extension specialty.

The specialty is something I would have liked but since I don't have the time to scour the staff market constantly to finally get that exact combination I settled for the one without specialty.

I indeed suspect they pulled some data and took some average. The average will always be worse than what some people that put more time into it get....that's why it's the average and not the minimum.

What's the problem if anyone have a free lvl7 trainer with low salary for 1 time ? we talking about 10th anniversary !
Don't forget this is a game, it should make us happy.

IMO what they should do is run drafts/draft-classes for micronations and release them en-mass FA at the start of the season.
Whatever they do it should be applied to every nation. Micronations should naturally benefit more. If you don't apply it to everyone then you have the problem of where you draw the line.

If they make the draft a lottery then it takes away tanking motivation and it allows them to run drafts in merged nations without issue of fairness or someone tanking for their NT and screwing the NT of other microNTs in their merged region.
They could have a lottery with equal odds between all teams in a relegation position (both direct or through relegations series). That should sort it and it's actually similar to how the draft works in the NBA: 8 playoffs teams get pics 9-16 the others are selected at random for pics 1-8.

If they aren't going to do something to massively increase the number of draftees/players in the game of Micro nationality then I think the NT competitions are a joke anyway.
I suggested giving the NT/U21 manager not going into an election the ability to draft 4-5 players per season from 2 randomly selected drafts. The players selected hit FA. That guarantees high potential player and decent starting skills. All nations will have this, but the ones who will truly benefit are the micros.

If you think that the NT/U21 manager may sabotage his/her nation then perhaps have a special election for the trainee selections and allow only active managers from that nation to participate (i.e. not people who log every week or 2) or give it to a GM willing to do it if there is nobody else.

In my opinion, throwing ideas here is a waste of time and energy, becuase game developers are simply not taking it to consideration, obviously. It's probably becuase we are all managers and we are all very smart and we all have a lot of ideas. :)))))))))
But, one must notice, that the changes implemented by the game developers have decreased the quality of the game which lead to the lowest number of users ever. I believe this is happening for a reason. If we take tanking for example. Developers decided to fine it in some way, instead of asking why people decide to tank. And then deal with the reason for tanking instead of punishing it.
Same thing happens with this merging of micronations. Why is Scotland, or South Africa micronation. If you merge them now, they will never be a macronation in BB, and that should be a goal to aim.
So developers should change their approach in dealing with problems. And we users should help them in understanding the problem and finding proper solutions for solving the problem, not just brainstorm them with bunch of ideas.

I am just saying that we as users need to find a way to work with developers in a constructive way. Not just criticise, and they also need to find a way to listen to what is it we are saying. At the moment, even if you have a good idea, how to solve tankung issue, and you went trough it with many managers and they also agree it could make things better, who can you elaborate it to and how.
Except on forum debate that I don't find very constructive.
