Yo yall,

my boys have got a real problem, my PR guy tells me all is swell, see -

I am pleased with the team's performance this season 5 balls

The team had a good run in the cup this year 5 balls

The team played well in our last league game 4 1/2 balls

The team played well the last time they were on TV 5 balls

The team played well in our last game against Tassie Cavaliers, our hated rival 5 balls

I am familiar with the star players, and am not afraid that they will be transferred 1 ball (ya this is bad)

The general manager is doing everything he can to try to improve the team 4 1/2 balls

All things considered, I am happy with the direction the team is going in 4 balls

But shoot my merchandise sales is through the floor.

Merchandise: $ 13 308
League Averages from Last Week $ 22 554

We are still in the cup, got the second best record in the association and only lost one game for the season? Shouldn't we be above average? This is costin me like $20,000 a week. Why wont my boys sell some more chilli dogs? Do I need to shoot my PR guy?

Sure your PR guy might have a bit to do with it but more likely it seems to be your squad. Just a glance at your squad, you only have 3 Aussie players out of 15.

fans prefer local players so the fact that you have so few explains why there is such a difference. being in div 4, most teams are bots and their whole team consists of local players.

I have the same issue :)

Point 2 can be useful to make money, but not keep the fans happy.

keep an eye on the TL for players that are for sale for less than what the similar players sell for. can be an easy way for a quick buck.

Yeah i find the market so unpredictable its hard to judge what certain players sell for.

That is true, but the more valuable a guy is, the more harder it is to do.

i.e you might be able to do it for guys that are worth like 10-50k or so but if the guy is worth 100k, it gets harder to pull off as theres more guys looking at those kind of skills. Also, the agents transfer fee tax eats into your profits as well so at the end of the day, each transaction does not yield that much of a return baring in mind that you also got to pay the salary of the player as well and there is risk that you can't sell the guy at the price you want to sell him for.

Yeah i agree it could pay off but its too risky for me most of the time.
