Handling = less TO = less 3s violation, traveling, miscatch pass

driving = driving shot for 2pt or driving and dishing for an assist

Why? Big men are already near the rim. They rarely need to drive the ball. Plus successful driving requires good handling too.

Not always - for example with Outside tactics C and PF make even some shots from perimeter, so it prooves that they can get the ball not near the rim....

Yes. They are near the rim. Most of the time. Not all the time of course. That's why I said they rarely need to drive. And you said they're not always near the rim. I agree. That's why I said they rarely need to drive. LOL You're saying the same thing.

And big men shooting 3s proves nothing cause I didn't say they're all the time below the rim. :)

And now on the serious note. I don't think 15 driving is usefull if your big guy will end up on perimeter in just 5% of the time. And that 5% you have to divide and give some percentage to shooting, turn overs/passing and driving. Just my opinion.

Aren't post moves included under driving? Because it allows you to create your own shot which is under driving in the game manual. If they are, this may be the use of driving for big men.

I would say my PF shoots a JS around 20% of the time. Also I would think driving would cover getting open wherever you are. IF he could drive from 15 feet away maybe I would see his JS go down. I also not thinking 15 in driving I was thinking around 8 or 9.

I was merely curious about that model.

(15071684)

this guy has 10 in driving, 8 in handling, 7 in inside scoring, and 5 in jump shot.

Last season as a PF he shot 87/147 - 59% (excluding scrimmages)
I don't know the number of jump shots vs driving layups, but nonetheless, this should be a pretty good percentage.
