How should players between PG and C or PG and PF be displayed? Or even players with more than 3 positions (salary wise)?

So whats your point then? Posting some random junk?

There are no players in this game that are very close to being a PG and a C at the same time.

Wouldn't that just be an all round SF anyway. I can rebound, I can pass, I can handle I can defend the perimeter and I can defend the low block... I'm a Small Forward. Or a 'Forward' if you want to go the crazy 20 degrees of every position route.

I don't own such a player, I don't know current skills and even if I'd know I wouldn't post them. It would be pointles as you know all players in the game, right?:-) Random junk? Please.

or how bout the position is decided by how often you play a player in that position. like if you play a guy so many times in a season in a position then his position will change to that.

Actually the idea behind Knechts proposal is quite clear and easy: if you have a multiple-positions-labeling, you can somehow draw conclusions about his skill selection using the formulas for potential and for salary. This would be an increase of the "scouting" methods we already have.

The listing of "which positions the player played this season" would be greatly misleading though, and you can access all of that by using tools on the market atm anyways, so there´s no real benefit in adding that.

And this is what a "Point-Center" would look like (for example) btw:

JS 2
JR 7
OD 10
HA 10
DR 3
Pa 9
IS 10
ID 5
Reb 10
SB 8

You dont know such a player, you dont own one like that, but you have to post in this thread to degrade the suggestion.

Nice trollin sir!

Edit:
I thought it was pretty clear that my suggestion excluded oddities that can exist due to the salary formula and would resemble the dual positions credited to real world players.

PG/SG -> G
SG/SF -> SG/SF
SF/PF -> F
PF/C -> PF/C

Actually, as my example shows, players with strange double max in salary don´t make much sense in at least one of the positions (the guy above might acutally work as pg, but he´s a mess at center). I don´t think you should show -those- kinde of double positions.

Also, PG is a position which needs WAY high skills in Passing compared to the other skills to make your player a "true" pg - so that "PG" addition won´t happen very often (and most likely with SGs, maybe SFs, but a "point forward" is a valid position in basketball anyways).

I certainly know PG/PF. That doesn't mean I am entitled to post who he is. Nor his skills. I am not sure about PG/PF/C type cause I don't remember the skills and I don't care enough to run rough estimates through salary calcualtors to see how close the numebrs are or are not.

only troll here is you. i won't feed you further. You are missing Peace, Metta World:-)
