You challenge me? LOL. It would be your challenge to show me that when someone touches the ball after shot and it hits the rim that it does not count as a block or the shot clock does not get reset. If you want a change to be made then you should offer proof that it actually is the other way around.
As I wrote before the rules say. Trajectory of ball is changed by the defender (within the rules of the game) after a shot is attempted, that's a block (unless the shot is made). If shot is attempted and it hits the rim the shot clock is reset. Simple.
I am 99% certain that you DO NOT get a blocked shot simply for getting a finger on teh ball, you actually have to effect its trajectory.
If you get a finger on the ball you always change the trajectory.
If you watch the NBA then they are pretty generous at giving stats. There are a lot of passes that would not be recorded as passes in europe. I'm sure that I could find a block like this tonight, but I just cba. Because you do not own League Pass and can not check the game I find it in. All I would need to do is check the stats of the game and watch all those blocks happen in a live game. I will take a mental note though, so I can check for those moments during next season (if there is one coming at all) and write down the exact time.

In U19 WC Jonas Valanciunas had touched like 13 or 14 shots and a lot of them were when he changed the trajectory slightly. But he had like 5 or 6 blocks.

I only saw second half of the final. Did not see other games. But then again, NBA rules were not used for that turnament (which BB is based on) + you are a lithuanian, thus your judgement while cheering for your countrymen, could of been a bit off. If he changed the trajectory slightly then what did the ball do? Touch the rim?, go out of bounds? or get shot as an airball?

I alrady said he changed the trajectory slightly and well the ball didn't touch the rim that's why i was surprised why it isn't a block. And well sometimes it reached the rim and still it wasn't a block. They were only counting the ones when the ball is completely rejected away. Not 'slightly' ones.

You can't say that the block does not get recorded that way. We can drop argueing about it until the next season starts (when I'll watch NBA games again unless the league is in a lockout) or you can actually get proof yourself that it does not get recorded as a block in the NBA.
NB! I even asked your mom, after she was done cleaning my toilet. She thought I was right... Soooooo, khm.
