Like until the all star break.

I won't be a grammar snob and point out the errors in your corrected post because this part intrigues me. Are you saying that I can give an expiration date to liking? For example, I'd love to give some posts a +1 that expires when the playoffs start - perhaps causing mental anguish that will lead to inferior roster decisions and therefore more success for me. If I ever make the playoffs, of course.

But I do like that idea. It's a +1 until week 5 of season 23, for sure.

(Completely unrelated to this, I still believe that Dutch is an imaginary language made up to troll their neighbors. They're clearly wacky folk, adopting orange for their national teams in sport despite having no orange at all on their flag?)

You say this about the Dutch, but your team is named after a Dutchman that played in the NBA? :D

I am fond of wacky folk, especially those above seven feet tall who wear wooden shoes and hit gamewinning shots at the buzzer to beat the Magic in a playoff game on Memorial Day. For example. ;)

Those are best kind of wacky folk. Much better than the wacky folk that preach doomsday gospels on the New York subway. Those types of wacky folk are not quite as easy to be fond about. ;)

I'll spare you the history lessons, but if you ever end up here I'll give you some tips where to go and show you how wacky we are!

Thanks for bringing this back up. As if the last few weeks as a Magic fan haven't been bad enough. I suppose it's back to therapy for me now. And we'd come so far.

I just got a flashback from school, who would have known it ever could be useful what we learned way back =)
As i remember it there was a prince(or was he just called that?) who revolted against the Spain rulers of Netherland somewhere around year 1500-1600. His colors was Orange White and Blue and as the Netherlands gained their independence then the color became something of the symbol of freedom.
Gonna have to look this up though and see how well i actually remember.

I'm sure it's well detailed in the Civilization 4 Civpedia, too. ;)

the Dutch have a heritage of tolerant Calvinism, and it doesn't get any wackier than that.
