Even if they do make it to the Finals, (which they aren't) they will lose to Miami. Let's face it, the Lakers don't have a good bench.

Miami doesnt have a good bench either, they got lucky on the finals cuz the bench came out and destroyed, but that was unusual... I think the Lakers will make it very far and could potentially take it all, I mean they really only have a couple seasons to win, otherwise everyone will retire

But they have to go through OKC and their spectacular bench.

Exactly, potentially through the Spurs and their spectacular bench as well lol

Either way, the West is still way stronger and the East is Miami... OKCs bench disappointed me greatly on the finals tho, they really didnt come through, and they were making the difference the whole season, so even tho they have an amazing bench, it all depends on whether they'll show up when things get competitive

I agree with you completely. This might sound strange and many of you will probably disagree with me, but I think too much star power can cause problems and that is exactly what the lakers have.

That is spot on. Remember when Miami first made their own Big 3? There were always problems in the '10-11 season about who would take the big shot in close games, who takes more shots in general, or who is the leader of the team. I believe the same thing will happen to the Lakers. How are you going to get Bryant, Gasol and Howard their 15+ shots per game each? I don't see them being ultimately successful in the long run. In a couple years, Kobe will be gone, most likely Nash will retire as well, and you be left with an aging Gasol and Howard who is going to be the only one in his prime.
